Headquarters and foreign companies attracted to dynamic Rhône-Alpes and Auvergne regions
Cadre Emploi published an article March 18 citing AmCham partner Jacqus de Chilly of ADERLY (Lyon Investment Agency),that spoke about growing foreign investment in both Rhône-Alpes and Auvergne regions. Click on the link above to get more information (in French). Some of the highlights:
-Rhône-Alpes is home to 1488 corporate headquarters for companies of more than 100 employees (222 of which have more than 500 employees)
-Auvergne is home to 40 corporate headquarters, with 30,000 employees
-Main reasons to be located in these regions: lower costs, good geographic situation, great personnel expertise, comfortable quality of life, extensive transportation system
-2500 foreign companies are in Rhône-Alpes
-the main employment centers remain: Lyon, Grenoble, Saint-Etienne (Rhône-Alpes) and Clermont Ferrand (Auvergne)
