Welcome to the website of AmCham Rhône-Alpes Auvergne. As a regional hub for networking and a facilitator for transatlantic business, we bring people together in order to promote a more favorable environment for commerce and professional advancement through life-long learning.

2009 was a year of significant growth: 300% membership increase; the launch of ChamMasters (optimizing your impact in public speaking); the advent of this website and the 2nd edition of our Education Program for international business development and life-long learning.

We are building on the strength of that growth to provide additional valuable opportunities for our members through:

• Knowledge-building: We will soon launch the 3rd edition of our Education Program “Business Tools in English” (publication expected early July), with a new selection of modules in various domains (Business Strategy & Management, Communications, Sales & Marketing, Legal, HR…) and Executive Workshops (Scenario Planning, Marketing Innovation and Managing Change). Two of our most popular offerings: ChamMasters – Speaking with Impact and French-American Relational Efficacy.

• Expert Task Forces in Logistics, Human Resources and Innovation – bringing experts together from various companies in order to discuss issues they face and to exchange best practices.

• Exclusive networking events: These also serve as a forum for life-long learning, ranging in subject and are often organized in coordination with partners such as the US Consulate, CCI de Lyon, WTC, ERAI, AEPI, FIBA, WPNG, Grenoble Ecole de Management, IAE de Lyon, CEFAM, American University Clubs….

• Visibility in our publications and our website:  Have something you would like to publish about your company? We can publish your news on our website. We also have special offers to ad space, and through our Web 2.0 channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Viadeo) we are reaching ever more readers.

As 2010 advances, AmCham Rhône-Alpes Auvergne will continue to progress by helping businesses develop business, organizing networking and education events, and providing a forum for transatlantic exchange.
